Defence Health members can select an optical frame from our $199 range and Single Vision, Bi Focal or Progressive lenses with Multicoat with no gap payment subject to your particular level of health cover, available limit and health fund rules.

Eligible health fund members may be able to claim prescription glasses when purchased online. Contact your health fund provider to determine whether you may be eligible. OPSM provides itemised invoice on eligible items so you can claim back from your health insurer directly.

Eligible health fund members may be able to claim prescription glasses including those with lens coatings such as BlueGuard.

Bulk billed eye tests available for eligible Medicare card holders. If you do not have a valid Medicare card and are a member of a private health fund, depending on your cover you may be eligible. Speak to your health fund to determine if eye tests are included. Our friendly staff can help provide you a receipt which you can use to claim back from your health fund directly if eligible.
